I didn't know Scott outside of his book-dealer role, but he was always asking what I was reading, and if it was any good, and I was never really sure if I had a good answer.

I believe that this is the first post to Usenet I ever made. It's pretty close, as it's from September of 1989, just when I started college. And what is likely my first post to rec.arts.drwho.

Needless to say, there is endless fun to be had in digging through the past like this.
